This blog primarily contains texts about topics I came across when fiddling with Web Analytics. It's not much about the tools, it's not really about the data - it is about the insights, thoughts, and doubts derived from working with digital services and Web Analytics on a daily basis.
I ditched the "photo" part in this blog by now. Some of my photos can be seen at flickr.
Currently living near Helsinki/Finland, I have been jumping around Digital agencies in Germany and Finland for more than 15 years.
Having been introduced to Media Theory during my time at the university I fell in love with the Internet in 1993 and have followed the rapid evolution of services, paradigms, and evolution in it ever since.
I've pretty much walked all the way from Service Creation down to content maintenance. Since early 2008 I am working professionally in the field of Web Analytics.
